PAST AND PRESENT CLIENTS

I build relationships with my client organizations so I can understand their needs, culture and how they operate in order to make a lasting impact.

Acquisitions & Training

East Palo Alto Community Alliance and Neighborhood Development Organization, is well established organization providing affordable housing and economic development to the community of East Palo Alto.

The organization has brought me in to complete the acquisition of several single-family homes while coaching and mentoring the staff in the process, so that the knowledge stays within the organization, The homes will be purchased by the organization's community land trust as part of their mission on equity and community land ownership. This process is a pilot program for both staff development and subsequent acquisitions.

First Community Housing

Multi-Family Development & Management

I have a long standing relationship with First Community Housing, first as a regular employee and now as a Sr. Project Advisor (consultant).  I have helped FCH with the day to day project management of multi-family affordable housing projects as well as the management of a large development team and a robust pipeline.  As the Director of Housing Development, I was part of the Executive Team making strategic decisions on the overall well being of employees and projects.

Program and Project Management

As the contract Director of Housing I support San Jose Conservation's real estate development initiatives. This includes, developing  an affordable housing program, land use research, advocating for policy change, marketing, financial proformas, and developing political strategies.

More specifically, I have helped SJCC develop an employee interim housing program for its Corpsmembers in training and in school who lack housing or are housing insecure.  I successfully advocated for zoning amendments in both the City of San Jose and Santa Clara County to allow tiny homes on wheels in the backyards of single family homes.

In addition, I develop strategies including financial analysis for leases and acquisition projects as well as provide project management services to troubleshoot and usher along planning and building permits.

It's been a pleasure getting to know Vianey as she assists our organization to complete a small site acquisition while mentoring and coaching staff through the process. She brings with her a deep knowledge of real estate development and affordable housing as well as team management experience.
